Dr Hunte
Fear Free Certified

Dr. Hunte, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Jonathan Hunte grew up on a goat farm in South Carolina. He studied biology, chemistry, and religion at Wofford College before pursuing veterinary medicine at the University of Georgia.

Dr. Hunte loves the versatility of veterinary medicine; there is always another part of the field to explore. As a general practitioner, he gets to do a bit of it all! His favorite aspect of the field is connecting to the people he meets who also love animals. The fact that even the worst people are their best towards animals gives him hope!

Outside of work, Dr. Hunte enjoys the scenery and atmosphere of Colorado. He spends his days off exploring the west, reading, listening to audiobooks in his hammock, and enjoying the amazing views that Colorado has to offer.

Our Greatest Achievement

Happy Clients, Healthy Pets

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My dog has been getting excellent care at Laurel Vet Clinic since he was a puppy. I am always confident that he will receive the highest level of expertise, compassion and caring whenever he visits. Whether it's routine care or an emergency, the veterinarians and staff at Laurel are the best in the business and treat my dog like family. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I started coming to Laurel Vet this year after I moved. Our cat needed vaccinations and some dental work, and the vets, office staff, and techs have all been very helpful. While your pet is in their office, they will call and explain their concerns and the potential treatments and expenses. They clearly care about animals.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
All of the vets that I've met, as well as the staff are fantastic. They are kind, and very caring....they really care about our furry family members. They have been there when we bring a new puppy or kitten into the family and have consoled us when we have had to let one of them go. I really could not recommend them any higher.
